This is the second version of our group animatic, with the additional live action recording.
Looks a little rough but with the actual animation it’ll hopefully look the part

I know, I know! This is the first post in a long time but I’m going to be revealing some of the work I’ve been doing during this long period of lacking posts!
So this video (kindly borrowed from my team mate’s youtube) is the first animatic made by the pre – production side of our team, made up by me, Daniel Isbitsky and Rachel Starkey.
I thought I’d give you a little break from the gloom of my last posts. A quick little doodle I completed with a teeny bit of watercolour and some white acrylic in her eyes which you can hardly see. I’d intended her to have the ocean in her eyes rather than a normal iris, to make her look more ethereal. It didn’t quite go according to plan but there you go.
What’s this? It seems our groom has departed from this world and so soon from the life of his beloved wife and our unfortunate protagonist. What a contrast from the last happy family snapshot.
However, something seems to be very wrong with this picture.
Look closely at the surrounding family, is that glee I spy on their faces?
Another family snapshot and what a happy day it is for the gentle youngest daughter. This is the celebration of her wedding day to the love of her life but will her family be satisfied with the match?
This is the first in a series of sketches based around Victorian family portraits. They tell the story of a rather unfortunate girl who is cursed with being the only gentle member of her severe Victorian family.
Find out what happens they do not approve of her choices..
I was inspired to create this after being reminded of the Phantom Manor ride in Disneyland Paris. I’ve always been interested in Gothic ghost tales and I was absolutely fascinated by the tragic story told throughout the ride.
I’d love to hear what you think about it, feel free to comment
So, you may have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much recently and I have a very good reason, I went to San Francisco and some of its surrounding environment. Researching and planning my visit beforehand I was delighted to discover that San Francisco is home to the Walt Disney Family Museum – a kinda perfect coincidence, right? They were also holding an exhibition for the art work of Disney’s Snow White so it would have been a crime not to visit that too!
